These terms govern your use of img100kb.com (“Img100KB”, “the service”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What the service is
Img100KB is a free tool that compresses images to a target file size directly in your web browser. Processing happens on your own device; the service consists of the web page and code we deliver to your browser.
2. Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to the images you compress. Because processing is local, your images are never transmitted to us and we claim no rights over them, before or after compression.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only with images you have the right to use. You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or otherwise abuse the service.
4. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not guarantee that:
- a compressed image will be accepted by any specific portal, authority, institution or form — always verify the exact requirements of the destination before submitting;
- compression results will meet a particular quality standard for your purpose;
- the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any given time.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Img100KB and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including, without limitation, rejected applications, missed deadlines, or loss of data or images. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
6. Changes to the service and these terms
The service may be modified, suspended or discontinued at any time without notice. These terms may be updated as the service evolves; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
